Graphic Design

My focus is high quality design in my logos and graphics both for Internet or Print Production. The work here represents what I've done in the years since earning my B.F.A. at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2003. The program solidified my knowledge of design principles and gave me a broad range of techniques to draw from.

After graduation I applied to dozens of jobs all over America. I spent a lot of time on the road driving to New Jersey, Kansas, and Chicago. I picked up several freelance jobs including graphics work for Post Digital and video editing work for CVP in Kansas City.

At this point, I got a huge break. Wiley Publishing brought me in as an Illustrator on a nationally published book series in Indianapolis. Near the end of my time there I interviewed in Cincinnati for a small web design company. A few days later, I accepted the position and moved during Thanksgiving weekend to Ohio.

By 2011, I'd worked for several large corporations, studios and major universities such as Frontgate and Ball State University. Shown here are various logos, web sites, posters and banners that I've put together for these clients. Click on an image for a larger view.
